  • Schedule changes
  • Payment communication
  • Important announcements

By registering, you agree to receive communication related to the program.

Terms and Conditions

By registering for McLean Karate Kids programs, you agree to the following terms:

Enrollment

Registration is required prior to participation. Spots are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment

Payment is required to secure your child's spot. Pricing is clearly listed for all programs, including trial classes and monthly enrollment.

Refund Policy

Refunds are limited and handled as follows:

  • If a student attends only one day, a refund may be issued
  • The refund will be prorated, subtracting the cost of the attended day
  • After more than one session is attended, refunds are not guaranteed

Make-Up Classes

Make-up classes may be offered under the following conditions:

  • Weather-related cancellations
  • Instructor emergency

Make-up sessions will be scheduled based on availability.

Attendance

Parents are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up. Consistent attendance is encouraged for the best experience.

Safety and Conduct

Students are expected to follow instructions and maintain respectful behavior. Safety is our top priority. Disruptive behavior may result in dismissal from the program.

Liability

Participation in karate and physical activities involves inherent risk. By enrolling, parents acknowledge and accept these risks.

Changes to Schedule

Schedules may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

Final Note

Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and positive environment where children can build confidence, stay active, and enjoy learning karate.

Cancellation & Refund Process

If you need to cancel your enrollment or request a refund, please follow these steps:

Provide Your Information

Please include the following details in your request:

  • Parent name
  • Child's name
  • Program enrolled (After-School / Summer Camp)
  • School location
  • Date of enrollment
  • Reason for cancellation (optional)

Wait for Confirmation

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days to confirm your cancellation and discuss any applicable refund.

Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days using the original payment method.

Refund Eligibility

  • YesIf your child attended only 1 class - prorated refund minus cost of attended session
  • MaybeIf cancelled due to medical emergency or relocation - case-by-case review
  • NoIf your child attended more than 1 class - refunds are not guaranteed

Important Notes

  • Trial class fees are non-refundable
  • No refunds for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts
  • Make-up classes may be offered for weather cancellations or instructor emergencies
  • All refund requests must be made in writing (email or text)
